Are your people at risk of burnout?

In this month’s Transforming Lives, we will take a look at the signs, symptoms and stages of burnout. We will also explore burnout in relation to the pandemic. Most importantly, we will focus on some practical and helpful coping strategies and tips for avoiding psychological decline that places individuals at higher risk of burning out.

Presenter: Shae Meddings – Converge Psychologist / Principal Consultant

When: Thursday, 24th February 2022 @ 12.00pm – 12.45pm (AEST)

What will it cover?

While the new year is usually met with a sense of optimism, this year is perhaps a little different. We have all lived through nearly 2 years of the pandemic, and things can understandably be different to a typical year. Some people are feeling great. That’s brilliant. However, many are saying they feel flat and generally demotivated. We know that the normal protective factors like attending concerts, going on holiday and having fun has been disrupted for a long time. We also know that prolonged stress can, if left unchecked, lead to burnout.

Join Shae as she explains what burnout is and how to avoid it.

In her webinar, you will learn:

  • Signs, symptoms and stages of burnout

  • How the pandemic may be contributing to the risk of burnout

  • Understanding burnout occurs on a continuum – learn the points on the continuum where you can more effectively intervene

  • What are key protective factors we need to re-establish

  • Learn proven prevention and management strategies that make a positive difference and reduce the risk of developing burnout

There will also be a chance to ask Shae any questions you may have on the subject.
