Diversity in the Workplace
Embracing diversity at work is about more than large volumes of human resources policies and guidelines stuck on the wall of the lunchroom. Celebrating diversity should always be about bringing people together and giving people an opportunity to express their unique background and traditions in a way that’s good fun and inclusive. Everybody loves a celebration, and when recognising and championing diversity at work, it is an enjoyable and engaging experience that all your staff will enjoy participating in.
Like many of our services, they are tailored to you and your employees needs, and one way we can assist you in facilitating greater inclusion is through our Specialist Helplines. We have expert consultants who can offer support for the LGBTQIA+ community, people with disabilities, or First Nations colleagues – to name a few. Click the button below to read more!

Enhancing First Nations Employment Practices
July marks NAIDOC Week, a time to celebrate Indigenous Australian history and culture, in addition to reflecting on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People’s struggle for equality. This year’s theme is Keep the Fire Burning! Blak, Loud and Proud. All Australians are invited to stand in solidarity with Indigenous communities, to listen to and amplify Indigenous People’s voices, and unitedly and unapologetically celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander identity and heritage.

Awareness days in July
Time to raise awareness
Let’s take a moment to highlight the importance of awareness days
Dry July
Getting healthy and celebrating a great cause is the theme of Dry July. The campaign is designed to entice people from across the world to give-up alcohol for the month of July, and to get their mates involved by rallying donations that go towards cancer related services, patients, their families, and their carers.
Disability Pride Month
Every July is Disability Pride Month globally. This annual occasion is reserved for recognising and celebrating the historic, social, and cultural achievements of the disabled community. Equally, it’s a time to reflect on their struggles for equality and to remove stigmas and prejudice.
NAIDOC Week
NAIDOC Week – July 7 to 14 – is a celebration of Indigenous communities from across Australia. During this time, we pay our respects and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander achievements, culture, and history. It’s a time to reflect and learn about one of the world’s oldest, living cultures during events held across the nation.
