July
This July, we’re exploring why celebrating diversity is crucial in and outside of work and its impact on those around us. Diversity enriches every part of our lives, both at work and beyond. When we embrace different backgrounds, cultures, identities, and perspectives, we create environments where everyone feels valued, respected, and safe to be themselves. This not only strengthens workplace culture and collaboration but also deepens our understanding of the communities around us, fostering empathy, connection, and true belonging. Awareness days in June
Time to raise awareness
Let’s take a moment to highlight the importance of awareness days
Dry July
Getting healthy and celebrating a great cause is the theme of Dry July. The campaign is designed to entice people from across the world to give-up alcohol for the month of July, and to get their mates involved by rallying donations that go towards cancer related services, patients, their families, and their carers.
Disability Pride Month
Every July is Disability Pride Month globally. This annual occasion is reserved for recognising and celebrating the historic, social, and cultural achievements of the disabled community. Equally, it’s a time to reflect on their struggles for equality and to remove stigmas and prejudice.
NAIDOC Week
NAIDOC Week – July 7 to 14 – is a celebration of Indigenous communities from across Australia. During this time, we pay our respects and acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander achievements, culture, and history. It’s a time to reflect and learn about one of the world’s oldest, living cultures during events held across the nation.

In teams, participants will travel across Australia visiting a range of First Nations’ heritage sites, increasing their step count along the way. It’s a challenge, so compete against other teams to be crowned this years champion. There are a bunch of new features, including a quiz at each stop, to promote further learning about First Nations’ heritage. This isn’t one to miss!
