Converge has expanded its Canberra presence with a newly refurbished ACT office, providing enhanced wellbeing spaces and expert mental health support for local employees. This investment strengthens Converge’s hybrid model of care — combining digital accessibility with personal, in-person support — to better serve Canberra’s government, education, defence, and industry sectors.

After a ribbon-cutting ceremony, Converge’s Canberra office was officially reopened after undergoing a major refurbishment, underscoring our mission to deliver key mental health and wellbeing support to Canberra-based organisations and their employees.

To continue delivering immediate care, anytime, anywhere, nationwide, we made the proactive decision to restore our Canberra office. Via upgraded clinical rooms and facilities, our Canberra office now offers employees a warm, comfortable, and private space to receive expert support.

“With over 23 clinicians in the ACT region, we’ve already delivered over 2,880 hours of support over the past financial year,” said Sarah Curran, Regional Partnership Manager, who led the office reopening. “This investment means employees and organisations across Canberra can access the support they need, when they need it, in ways that are both personal and immediate.”

Converge already supports thousands of employees across the ACT region, with the majority working in government agencies and organisations. With a deep understanding of the pressures faced by public sector employees, Converge has developed tailored expertise in supporting the ACT’s unique workforce, making it a trusted partner for government bodies seeking comprehensive wellbeing solutions.

As always, through the use of our digital wellbeing tools, such as the Converge App, our footprint continues to service employees across 100% of Australia virtually via live chat and online counselling. That’s in addition to servicing 95% of Australia face-to-face.

“Reopening our Canberra office reflects Converge’s hybrid model of care, combining the accessibility of digital support with the comfort and trust of in-person services. Local presence matters, and by upgrading our ACT office, we’re making it even easier for employees to access support that feels personal, immediate, and effective.”

Mary Talbot, Executive Director of Digital Product, Converge

The refurbishment of the Canberra office marks the next step in Converge’s growth journey, ensuring organisations in the ACT, particularly within government, defence, education, and industry, continue to have timely access to expert care. As demand for proactive and preventative support grows, Converge is well-positioned to partner with more ACT-based government agencies to strengthen employee wellbeing across the region.
