Specialised Care for the Disability & Carers Community
We assist you to meet employees’ sensitive needs
Overview
How Our Support System for People with a Disability & their Carer Works
At Converge, we have specialist consultants who provide support and advice to individuals with different abilities based on their unique preferences for support. Our consultants also specialise in providing support for family members and carers who are assisting people with a disability.
We respect each caller’s choices and will support them to live the life they want to create. Our approach is strengths and rights-based and we take the time to listen and understand their values and goals.
Services
Caring for the Disability & Carers Community anytime, anywhere
What to expect
Our consultants have knowledge on the way services can be delivered to people with a disability, and understand that violence and other abuses of power and control can be the lived experience of individuals.
We are informed by lived experience and will create a safe and trusting environment of compassionate care. We will also include referrals either within our EAP service, or to external support services to help with continuity of care.
How to get in touch
Our commitment and priority is to support you with what you need anytime, anywhere. If you would like to contact our Disability & Carers helpline, you can call: 1300 243 543.
We will listen and follow your lead to support you with your unique experience and situation.
Partnership with the Department of Home Affairs
Converge has been collaborating with the Department of Home Affairs since November 2021. With a workforce of 15,000 employees, the Department sought Converge’s expertise to conduct large-scale candidate testing to assess the suitability of prospective employees for operational safety roles.
