An Urgent Response to Manage Critical Incidents

Supporting you through sudden and unplanned traumatic events.

Coaching & Support

Partnering with you to support mental wellbeing

The Converge model of response and support assists organisations to ‘Prepare, Respond and Recover’. Our critical incident response is modelled on psychological first aid, and a stepped care model which includes approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy and trauma informed practice. We support employees in their initial stages of response, and then continually assess and monitor if they need additional support or referral to specialist services. Follow ups occur in the first month at several touch points to ensure employees are cared for whether they have an initial or potentially delayed response to the incident.

Comprehensive Critical Incident Management Services

Critical Incidents

The Converge model of response and support assists organisations to ‘Prepare, Respond and Recover’. Our critical incident response is modelled on psychological first aid, and a stepped care model which includes approaches such as cognitive behaviour therapy and trauma informed practice. We support employees in their initial stages of response, and then continually assess and monitor if they need additional support or referral to specialist services. Follow ups occur in the first month at several touch points to ensure employees are cared for whether they have an initial or potentially delayed response to the incident.

We provide parallel assistance to both the affected team and their line managers. Recognising that managers may feel uncertain about how to respond, we offer coaching and guidance throughout a multi-week support period. This ensures everyone involved feels supported and equipped to handle the aftermath effectively.

With our expert team by your side, you can trust that we’ve got your back, helping your organisation navigate these exceptional circumstances with confidence and care. We offer tailored responses to minimise the impact on individuals and teams, ensuring comprehensive support during critical times.

Planned Support

Planned support response service is to support staff during planned organisational events including but not limited to restructures, redundancies and termination discussions. This service is suited at the individual and organisation wide level. It is underpinned by the same principles as Critical Incident support but with a stronger focus on psychoeducation and proactive referrals into other support services such as career coaching, etc.

Disaster Management

Disaster Management response service refers to large scale critical events such as natural or human caused disasters. Disaster Responses are activated depending on many factors including the type of event, the scale of impact and the geographical area. Converge has a defined methodology for managing large scale critical events where there is potential for prolonged impact requiring involved coordination, broad scale support and feedback.
