Witness or Investigations Support

If someone has been involved in legal processes, hearings or investigations, this situation can be unsettling and challenging. These situations can also trigger acute anxiety and uncertainty in individuals.

Supporting your employees

What is Witness & Investigations Support

Specialised counselling for employees or other individuals who require support while they are called to appear in a court hearing, inquiry or investigation. This may be in response to a legal matter, government inquiry, or an internal or external investigation.

Converge caters to supporting participants who are considered complainants, respondents, witnesses and also managers supporting staff.

We can provide support in the lead-up to a hearing, examination or other interview, as well as onsite support on the day, and support post-hearing or interview. Converge can also provide this service to employees who deliver investigations so that they feel supported from a vicarious trauma perspective – noting that we will ensure this stream of the service is separate and distinct to the stream supporting anyone participating in the investigations.

Witness support is for individuals who may be:

  • Witnesses
  • Giving evidence
  • Involved in investigations
  • Involved in interviews
  • And more
