Work Corporate Health Day
World Corporate Health Day is celebrated on April 4. It is a day the entire world focusses on mental and physical health of employees. Healthy employees make better employees.
This day encourages employers and employees to work together as a team to tackle mental health issues.
World Day for Safety and Health at Work
Monday 28 April 2025 is World Day for Safety and Health at Work (World Day) and Workers’ Memorial Day.
In 2023, 200 workers in Australia died from traumatic injuries sustained during a work-related activity. This concerning statistic amplifies the importance of increasing awareness of preventative WHS measures.
World Health Day
It is celebrated annually and each year draws attention to a specific health topic of concern to people all over the world.
The date of 7 April marks the anniversary of the founding of WHO in 1948.
Anzac Day
Anzac Day is our national day of commemoration.
On Friday 25 April 2025, the Australian War Memorial will mark the 110th anniversary of the Gallipoli landings, as well as commemorating all Australians who have served in times of peace and war.
World Autism Awareness Day
Since the United Nations General Assembly designated 2 April as World Autism Awareness Day (WAAD) in 2007, the UN has worked to promote the full realization of human rights and fundamental freedoms for autistic individuals, ensuring their equal participation in society. Over the years, significant progress has been made, driven in large part by autistic advocates who have worked tirelessly to bring the lived experiences of autistic individuals to the forefront of global discussions.
